Of course who want to work for you if you do not let candidates know the exact information about their salary and benefit they will have when they work. This will let your candidates feel that you are not trust them and not tell them what they should know. To avoid this, tell your candidates the full information or answer their question that relate to this. Make sure that they know how much is their salary and what is their working benefit and so on. Do not let them leave with question where you may miss a talented employee.
Canceling or postponing interview
It is just fine for the company or employee to cancel the interview process but make sure they you send notice to your candidates few days before the interview to let them know about the cancellation. Do not tell your candidates about the cancellation of interview in last minutes where candidates may already prepare everything for the interview. This is also one of the most frustrating things for candidates where they cannot do anything if the company or employee suddenly cancel the interview process with them. Candidates may have multiple interview in a day and they may need to choose one of the interview if multiple interview crash the time. Therefore, tell candidates earlier if you decide to cancel your interview with them to let them choose another company’s interview.
Not responding in timely manner
Interview may consider small for some big company that have other important thing or project to focus. Therefore, they may forget to tell their candidates about the result of the interview whether they are hired or been rejected. It is recommended for company or employer to tell candidates the result as soon as possible. It will be better if the company hired the candidates but if the company does not want to hired the candidates, at least the candidates can know it and start to find another company. Candidates is frustrated when company does not tell them the result and let them curious about it for long time. They don’t know whether they need to wait for the reply or just apply for another company. Therefore, response to candidates as soon as possible where they can decide to work with your company or just apply another company.
